Winchester Speedway and Potomac Speedway have joined forces for The first of four Pure Stock Challenge races paying $500 to the winner. The Pure Stocks will be running a 25 lap main event paying $500 to the winner. All drivers that participate will receive 50 bonus points for their tracks points. Along with the challenge race will be the Late Models, Limited Late Models, 4 Cylinders and U-Cars. Also the Easter Bunny will be on hand handing out goodies to all children under the age of 7 along with a Easter Egg Hunt at 6pm. Gates will open at 4:30, warm-ups 6:15 and the green flag waves at 7pm. Pit entrance is $23 with Grandstand admission $12 with children under 12 free to the grandstand area. Sunday, March 28th, 2010Winchester and Potomac Speedway have joined forces for the Limited Late Model division for a 30 lap Challenge race paying $1000 to the winner on Saturday April 10, 2010. Winchester to host Regular Show on Saturday April 17th
Sunday, March 28th, 2010Winchester Speedway will host a 5 division regular show on Saturday April 17, 2010. The Late Models, Limited Late Models, Pure Stocks, 4 Cylinders and U-Cars will take to the speedway for their main events. Gates will open at 4:30, warm-ups 6:15 racing at 7pm. Pit entrance $23, with general admission $ 12 for adults, kids 12 and under free to the grandstand area.

Winchester Speedway opened the gates to kick off the 2010 season on Saturday night March 27, 2010 with a stellar field of 117 cars for all 5 divisions. The fans and drivers braved the cold temperatures to witness the revealing of Greg Gunter’s Winchester Speedway. And what a show they got.
The Gasoline Alley Late Model division had 19 cars checked into the pit area for there 25 lap main event. Ronnie Dehaven would lead the field with Jonathan Dehaven a close second. Third place runner DJ Myers would apply pressure to Jonathan Dehaven making the pass on lap 7 to take second and set his sights on Ronnie Dehaven. Myers not able to make the pass would fade as Jonathan Dehaven would make the move on Myers for second. Jonathan took second away on lap twenty –four but time would run out as Winchester VA’s Ronnie Dehaven would take the victory. Jonathan Dehaven ended up second, DJ Myers third, Bo Feathers fourth and rounding out the top five was Andy Anderson. Heat race wins went to Jonathan Dehaven, & DJ Myers. (more…)
Winchester Speedway to open gates Saturday March 27
Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010Winchester Speedway Owner/Promoter Greg Gunter will open the gates to reveal the new Winchester Speedway on Saturday March 27, 2010 . After months of hard work and renovation we are ready to reveal the new look stated Gunter. On the schedule to kick off the 2010 season are The Gasoline Alley Late Models, Eagle School Auto Parts Limited Late Models, The Niningers Tire & Auto Pure Stocks, The Dehaven Well Drilling 4 Cylinders and The Finish Line Auto U-Cars.
Pit gates will open at 3pm, General admission gates will open at 4pm, with a mandatory drivers meeting at 5pm and warm-ups will get underway at 5:30 and the green flag will wave to kick off the 2010 season at 6:30
Pit entrance is $23, general admission is $12 with children 12 and under free to the grandstand area. Bring the family for an exciting night of racing.
