Josh Richards claimed the $5000 Mike Clore Memorial main event Saturday Night at The Winchester Speedway, in Winchester VA.Front row starters Jamie Lathroum and Jeremy Miller lead the field to the green with Miller taking the top spot. Richards was quick to take the runner up spot from his fourth starting position on lap three. Richards then set his sights on Miller and would take the top spot on lap twelve.Richards in control would see a caution fly on lap twenty to tighten the field up. Richards set to take the green, Miller second and seventh place starter JT Spence had worked his way into the third position would make the pass on Miller on lap twenty one. Spence and Miller would battle for the runner up spot as Miller grabbed it back on lap twenty-five only to hand it back on lap thirty-six. Richards would go onto pick up the win with Spence second, Miller third, Jason Covert who started sixteenth would come home fourth and rounding out the top five was D.J. Myers. Special thanks to Ernie D’S Auto Auction for the $1000 points bonus that Richards and Miller tied for, and decided to split the top spots and Keith Jackson was third overall in the weekend events points system. Heat race winners for the 31 cars went to Jeremy Miller, Josh Richards, and Walker Arthur. Scott Labarron would pick up the win in the 15 lap consolation event. Jamie Lathroum would pick up the win in the 6 lap dash.
In the 30 lap Limited Late Model Potomac/Winchester Challenge it was Kyle Lear picking up his first ever Winchester Speedway win. Front row starters Travis Stickley and Jonathan Dehaven lead the field to the green with Dehaven taking the top spot. Dehaven leading the field would see a hard charging Dennis Lamb move to the second spot and set his sights on Dehaven. Caution flew on lap seventeen to reset the field. Dehaven, Lamb , Flaherty and eleventh place starter Kyle Lear had moved into fourth. Lear applying heavy pressure would make the pass on Flaherty on lap twenty-two and set his sights on the top spot. Lear would make the pass on lap twenty-five and go onto take the win. Dehaven would cross second, third Lamb, fourth Flaherty and rounding out the top five was Trevor Feathers. Heat winners for the twenty-three cars went to Bruce Kane and Dennis Lamb
In the 15 lap Niningers Tire & Auto Pure Stocks main event it was James Gray picking up the win over Mike Corbin, Micheal Carter, Mike Rose and rounding out the top five was Brian Lutrell.
The Dehaven Well Drilling 4 Cylinders seen Roger Whitlock pick up the win. Billy Sonner second, third James Lichliter, fourth Cody Gray and fifth to Jeff Koller. In the Finish Line U-Car main event it was Kevin Oates picking up the win over Brenda Alexander, Robert Plaugher Sr, Josh Wilkins and rounding out the top five was Jason Wilkins.
