"Brannon Closes In On Winchester Title With 7th RUSH Late Model Triumph"

Winchester VA- Local favorite Devin Brannon wired the field in last Saturday's 25 lap RUSH Late Model feature at Winchester Speedway The win for Brannon, steering his familiar Provinzino Race Cars No.137, was worth $1500 and would be the current divisional point leaders 7th Winchester feature win of the season.
Defending track champion Davin Kaiser and Brannon would share the front row for the start of the event with Brannon surging into the race lead as the field entered turn number one. From that point forward, it would be a race for second as Brannon would easily lead all 25 laps. "This car has been great all season." Brannon stated post race "We weren't that good in qualifying so we made some changes before the feature and this thing was on a rail and as always a big thanks to mom and dad and all the sponsors for all their support." Kaiser hung to for second, Kristopher Hutton was third with Bubby Tharp Jr and Brayden Armel rounding out the top five. Heats went to Kaiser and Brannon.
In the 20 lap UMP Modified feature Logan Roberson drove to his 3rd win of the season. Roberson took the lead on the first lap and then have to hold off a pesky Ray Kable for the duration to secure the victory. "These cars sure aren't easy to drive but they are a lot of fun." Logan shared in victory lane. "Glenn and Stephanie Elliott have given me a great opportunity to drive this car and it sure has been a ton of fun." Blake Tasker, Cody Williams and Vance Williams Jr trailed at the finish. Heats went to Roberson, Kable and Cody Williams.
Trent Holmes drove a near perfect race to post the win in the 15 lap Semi Late feature. Trent started on the pole and would lead every lap, but he would have to hold off class veterans Walter Crouch and Allen Brannon who've combined for 7 wins in 2026 to secure the popular win aboard his ARC Race Cars No.97. Dwayne Snyder had a solid finish taking fourth with one time division feature winner Brian Luttrell completing the top five. Heats went to Holmes and Luttrell.
Chris Sumption steered his familiar No.50 to his 2nd win of the season in the 15 lap Hobby Stock contest. It would be no easy trip to victory lane as Sumption ran wheel to wheel with eventual runner-up Dylan Beavers and Randy Linaburg for the duration. Seventh starting Larry Smith Jr was solid in fourth with Brad Dyer filling the front five. Heats went to Sumption and Jason Wilkins.
